Taapsee Pannu was born on 1 August 1987 to Dilmohan Singh Pannu and Nirmaljeet Pannu. She is an Indian actress and model known for her work in South Indian cinema and Bollywood. Before opting for actress Taapsee worked as a software engineer and also did modelling for quite sometime. She appeared has won titles like "Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face" and "Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin" and also appeared in many commercials.
Taapsee made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam. Since then Taapsee has portrayed her talents in movies Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju and Mr. Perfect. Her Tamil film Aadukalam won six National Film Awards at the 58th National Film Awards.
Her performance in the Tamil film Arrambam was awarded Most Enthusiastic Performer-Female Award. In Bollywood she started with Chasme Baddoor. She was starred for film Baby with Akshay Kumar and had a lead role in Pink, Naam Shabana, Judwaa 2 and Ghazi Attack.
